3 Landran students hurt in attack

The local Civil Hospital turned into a battlefield today when a group of over 20 students of Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran, attacked three students of the same college with swords and batons while one of them was being attended to in the hospital’s emergency room.

The local police arrested a 30-year-old woman, who is a guest lecturer in a local college, for being involved in flesh trade. The woman, a PhD in physical education, was arrested after the police laid a trap near Nirman Theatre in Sector 32 on Saturday night.
