Book release: Prof Som Pal Heera's book 'Solo Natak Som Pal Heera De' will be released on
Sunday. A programme has been arranged for the purpose at Guru Nanak National College, Doraha.The function is being organised by the Punjabi Writers Association, Rampur. The function will be presided over by Dr Surjit Patar and the vote of thanks will be given by Prof Balwant Singh Pangali, general secretary, College Management Committee.

Brahmin Samaj meeting: A meeting of the Brahmin Samaj, Samrala,
will be held at Durga Mandir here at 9 am on Sunday, under the presidentship of Mr Devi Dayal Prashar. In the
meeting, problems faced by the community will be discussed. State -level celebrations of Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti which is to be held at Rampura Phul in Bathinda district will also be discussed .
