Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Punjab and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 9.4°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 24: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
