Navy pilot Pannu cremated

Amritsar, December 7
The body of Indian Navy pilot Lieut-Comdt H.S. Pannu, who died in a jet crash on Monday in Goa, was today cremated with full Naval and state honours at his native place here.

The pilot’s body had reached Amritsar late last night and was handed over to the bereaved family.

Lieut-Comdt Pannu (30) was married less than a year ago. His father Col Jagtar Singh had retired from the Army a few years ago. — UNI
