TADA court order set ASIDE

Mumbai, December 2
The Bombay High Court today set aside designated TADA court order restricting interrogation of extradited gangster Abu Salem by only two officers of the Anti-Terrorist Squad of Mumbai police.

Hearing a writ petition filed by the ATS challenging the designated court order, a Bench comprising Mr Justice D.G. Deshpande and Mr V.M. Kanade quashed the designated TADA court order of November 29 that allowed only two officers to interrogate Salem in their ongoing probe into 1995 Pradeep Jain Murder case. — PTI
