Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Haryana and Punjab and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were markedly below normal in Punjab, appreciably below normal in Haryana and west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan, above normal in west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperatutre in the plains was 1.8°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 3: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 3: Mainly clear sky. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 8°C.
