Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cms are: Jammu and Kashmir: Quazigund 4, Pahalgam 2 and Banihal, Bhaderwah, Kupwara and Srinagar 1 each.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperature fell appreciably in Punjab and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were above normal in Haryana, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.4°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 1, 2005: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
