Gohana riots: CBI files charge sheet

New Delhi, November 26
In less than three months, the CBI has filed a charge-sheet in the one of the three cases registered in connection with the communal clash at Gohana in Sonepat district of Haryana and booked nine persons in connection with the murder of a shopkeeper.

The charge-sheet was filed today in the designated court of Ambala against the accused under Sections 147, (punishment for rioting) 148, (rioting, armed with a deadly weapon), 149, (unlawful assembly), 302 (murder) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt). — PTI
