Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little.

Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, below normal in East Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 7.6°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 9: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in East Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 9: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 12°C.
