K.R. Narayanan slips into coma

New Delhi, November 2
Former President K.R. Narayanan (85) has slipped into coma at the Army Research and Referral Hospital here. A medical bulletin issued by the hospital here today said his condition was critical. “He has acute artery blockages. Medical evaluation has shown evidences of right side pnumonitis (pneumonia),” it said.

Narayanan was admitted to the hospital on Saturday after he complained of breathlessness. — TNS
