Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.4°C recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hour change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were above normal in Haryana and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 17.7°C recorded at Pilani (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 8: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.
