Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Tajewala 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Pahalgam 1 and Uttaranchal: Haripur 3, Marora and Srinagar 2 each and Uttarkashi 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 29: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
