New Delhi, September 4
Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttaranchal, at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: east Uttar Pradesh: Khadda 5, Banda 4, Bahraich 3, Bani, Birdghat, Neemsar and Regoli 2 each and Gorakhpur, Katerniaghat, Mukhlishpur and Varanasi City 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Ankinghat 3 and Bareilly 1 and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 7, Banbasa 4, Kalagarh 3, Rishikesh 2 and Joshimath 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 6: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab east Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of September 6: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of light rain/thundershowers in some areas.
