Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at many places in Punjab, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana. Weather was dry in west Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Chauraha, Shimla and Sundernagar 5 each, Bhuntar and Tissa 3 each, Kasol and Pandoh 2 each and Ghamroor and Sujanpurtira 1 each. Jammu and Kashmir: Bhoond and Katra 2 each and Basoli and Patti 1 each. Punjab: Shahpurkandi 5, Madhopur 4, Ranjit Sagar Dam 3 and Bathinda 1. East Rajasthan: Angai 4, Kotkashim and Rajakhera 3 each, Bari, Dholpur, Tapukara, Talabshahi 2 each and Bharatpur and Ramgarh 1 each. East Uttar Pradesh: Sultanpur 7, Mirzapur 5, Elginbridge 3, Palliakalan and Sitapur 2 each and Kakrahi, Katerniaghat and Rae Bareilly 1 each. West Uttar Pradesh: Agra and Mathura 5 each, Bareilly 2 and Auriya and Kalp 1 each and Uttaranchal: Rishikesh 5, Marora 4, Tehri 3, Banbasa, Hardwar, Rudraprayag, Srinagar and Uttarkashi 2 each and Dehra Dun, Mukteshwar and Pantnagar 1 each.
