Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little.

Departure: They were markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 40.4°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of April 6: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forcast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 6: Mainly clear sky. The maximum temperature will be around 35°C.
