Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were below normal in east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.8°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 6: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana. Punjab and north Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 6: Partly cloudy sky, mist/shallow fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 7°C.
