Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh and weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation recorded in cm are:

Himachal Pradesh: Kangra 2, East Uttar Pradesh: Behraich 2.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperature fell in east Uttar Pradesh, rose in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere. These were below normal in Haryana, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 3oCelsius recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of January 26: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Punjab and east Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of January 26: Cold day conditions continue to prevail in Delhi. Generally cloudy sky. Mist/Fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 6°C.
