Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Departures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little.

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of 16 January: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
