Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Kandaghat 3, east Rajasthan: Dausa, Jaipur AP, Sapau and Malsisar 3 each, Amer, Bamanwas, Jamuarampur, Kumbher and Sanganer 2 eachand Chakshu, Digana, Jayal, Lalsot, Mozamabad, Parvatsar, Pilani, Roopwas and Sawai Madhopur 1 each, west Rajasthan: Churu 4 and Taranagar 3, East Uttar Pradesh: Neemsar 4, west Uttar Pradesh: Ankinghat and Bareilly 1 each and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 2 and Uttarkashi 1.
