The Economic Offences Wing has claimed to have arrested the wife of an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer for forgery and bid to dupe a bank of nearly Rs 15 lakh.

BSNL yet to recover Rs 28 crore
Faridabad, April 27
The office of the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) here is still to recover an outstanding amount of about Rs 28 crore from the consumers here. The department had launched certain schemes including the registration of legal cases against the defaulters. At least 10 such defaulters had already been booked, say the officials.
