Panjwar’s confidant Kaleke arrested

Amritsar, April 7
The Majitha police has arrested Surjit Singh Kaleke, a hardcore terrorist of the Khalistan Liberation Force and a close confidant of Parmjit Singh Panjwar, who is among India’s 20 most wanted terrorists, who has taken refuge in Pakistan.

The district police chief Mr R.P.S. Bajwa, said a naka was laid near Baba Bakala subdivision after getting information in this regard.

According to Mr Bajwa, the nabbed terrorist had admitted that he was trained by the ISI and remained close to Panjwar during his stay in Pakistan. In Pakistan he said he worked with Panjwar and Dr Sohan Singh. He further disclosed that in Pakistan they along with ISI officers used to conduct several meetings for committing bomb blasts in Punjab and other parts of India.
