Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Haryana and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal, appreciably above normal in Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in east Uttar Pradesh. The highest temperature in the region was 35.2°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in west Uttar Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 8°C recorded at Adampur.

Forecast valid until the morning of March 7: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 7: Partly cloudy sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 30°C and 13°C respectively.
