Minimum temperatures fell in Punjab, West Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and
changed little elsewhere. Departure: This was appreciably above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 09.4°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).
Forecast valid until the morning of March 2: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
