Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: past 24-hour change: Minimum temperatures rose in Punjab and Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan, above normal in west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.6ºC recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 16: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 16: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning.
