Rainfall: Rain or snow occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Himachal Pradesh, fell in Haryana and east Rajasthan, rose in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of February 13: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
