Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Haryana, at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in east Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Nilokheri, Thanesar and Tohana 1 each and Jammu and Kashmir: Srinagar 3 and Batote 1.

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh , fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, Punjab and east Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and above normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 8.0°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
