Bodies of abducted Kuki students found

Diphu, Assam, November 13
Ethnic clash between the Karbis and Kukis in Karbi-Anglong district assumed an alarming proportion as the police today found the bodies of four Kuki students, who were abducted yesterday.

Superintendent of Police Abdul Kuddus said here that the bodies were found late last night. The students were on their way to school in Hidin Taron village to appear in the HSLC examination on November 11, when they were abducted by Karbi youths near a river inside a jungle in Manja area under the Diphu police station. — UNI
