Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: they were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region.

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed a little. Departure: They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plain was 11°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of October 25: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
