Rainfall:
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: east Rajasthan: Sunela 6, Bhimsagar Bandh 5, Chhoti Sadri, Jhalawar, Jhakam Bandh, Kushalgarh, Mahi Bandh, Nathdwara and Udaipur A.P. 3 each, Pratapgarh and Sajangarh 2 each and Aklera, Banswara, Ghatol and Udaipur City 1 each and east Uttar Pradesh: Birdghat 5, Gorakhpur 3 and Chillaghat and Mukhlishpur 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 23: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan.
