Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh, at many places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh.Weather was mainly dry in Punjab. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Thanesar 1, Himachal Pradesh: Dharamsala 3, Jammu and Kasmir: Jammu 9, east Rajasthan: Jhalawar 6, Kishangarh 4, Kathumer, Navalgarh and Wagandam 3 each, Atru, Bhopalsagar, Kotari, Thanagaji and Todabhim 2 each and Chirawa, Govindgarh, Hindaun, Pilani, Rajgarh, Sagwara and Tatgarh 1 each, west Rajasthan: Churu 5, east Uttar Pradesh: Neemsar 7, Birdghat and Mukhlispur 6 each, Chhatnag 4, Bansi, Kakardharighat and Raebareilly 2 each and Ankinghat, Bani, Bhinga, Basti, Chandradeepghat, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Regoli, Shardanagar, Sultanpur and Varanasi A P 1 each and Uttaranchal: Haripur 13, Banbasa 6, Pantnagar 3 and Dehradun 1.
