Noor to be out of intensive care in 2 days

Bangalore, July 19
Pakistani child Noor Fatima is recovering well and is likely to be moved to her ward within the next two days.

“She has been comfortable without assisted respiration. We anticipate being able to move her out of the ITU (intensive thoracic unit) within the next couple of days,” said heart surgeon Dr Devi Shetty, chairman of the Narayana Hrudayala Hospital, where she underwent surgery.

“We have placed her in the ITU only as a precautionary measure because we do not want too many persons visiting the patient,” he added.

Noor underwent heart surgery on July 15. — UNI
