Top BJP leaders at their brainstorming session here today favoured holding of Lok Sabha poll on schedule in the “latter half of next year” scotching speculation of any preponement even as they discussed threadbare the party’s relations with NDA allies in different states.

Over one lakh students belonging to the Backward Class and the Scheduled Caste either going to school without satchels or have been forced to purchase school bags from their own pockets. This is in spite of the release of the requisite funds by the state government and the withdrawal of Rs 50 lakh by the Welfare Department authorities for providing bags to all eligible school-going children.
