Train mishap averted

Ferozepore, June 7
Passengers of the Ludhiana-bound 4 LF DMU (diesel multiple unit) from Ferozepore had a narrow escape when its driver brought the train to a halt following gangman’s red alert today.

Railway sources said when the gangman noticed a crack in the railway track between Dhindsa and Sayada village, he immediately mounted a red flag for the driver who halted train immediately. UNI

Fodder scam: Cong MP chargesheeted

Ranchi, June 7
The CBI today filed two separate chargesheets against the Congress Member of Parliament Rajo Singh in connection with the multi-crore fodder scam case. Mr Singh is the first sitting MP to be chargesheeted in the fodder scam. UNI
