Dalmiya’s charge against ICC

Kolkata, February 13
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today accused ICC of bending backwards to protect the interests of England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) at the cost of other competitors in the ongoing cricket World Cup.

The BCCI had set a deadline of February 15 to the ICC for a reply to its queries after which the Indian cricket board would decide its further course of action.

In a letter to ICC President Malcom Grey, which was released to the media, BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya expressed shock following a report that the ICC was now planning to grant another opportunity to the ECB to allegedly present “certain new facts or reports before the Event Technical Committee (ETC).” UNI
