Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, below normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was minus 0.6°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of January 16: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be dry in the rest of the region.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh during the next two nights.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of January 16: Clear sky. Fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 5°C.

Farmers’ weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of January 16: Sky will be clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
