Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fall in west Rajasthan, rose in west Uttar Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were below normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 7°C recorded at Bikaner (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of January 6: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at a few places in Punjab and west Rajasthan during the next two nights.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of January 6: Mainly clear sky. Fog in the morning. Cold day. Minimum temperature will be around 6°C.

Farmers’ weather bulletin for Delhi forecast vaid until the morning of January 6: Sky will be mainly clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
