Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 5°C recorded in Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 6: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 6: Partly cloudy sky. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 7°C.
