Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region.

The highest temperature in the region was 37.5°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Haryana and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana and east Rajasthan, above normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.0°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 1: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 1: Partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thundery development in some areas. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 31°C and 17°C, respectively.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of November 1: Development of thunderclouds is likely at a few places.
