Mumbai, October 28
Two gangsters belonging to the Chhota Rajan gang were killed in an encounter with the police in South Mumbai early on Monday. Acting on a tip-off that some of the gangmen had hatched a conspiracy to kill a city-based businessman after he refused to pay ransom, the crime branch had laid a dragnet.
