Mig crashes, pilot bails out
Jaisalmer, October 22
An IAF MiG-21 fighter aircraft crashed at a village in Rajasthan’s border district of Barmer last night, however, the pilot, Lt S. Pal managed to bail out safely, official sources said today. The crash which is believed to be due to a technical snag in the engine of the aircraft, occurred at 10.10 p.m., soon after the plane took off from the Uttarlai Air Force station in Barmer district.
