Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: The were markedly above normal in Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarnahal, above normal in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 41.5°C recorded at Phalodi (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Uttaranchal and changed-little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Punjab, below normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 16.0°C recorded at Chittorgarh (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 4: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 4: Mainly clear sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 35°C and 21°C, respectively.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of October 4: Sky will be mainly clear.
