Our Correspondent

Faridkot, September 18
The Lok Bhalai Party will give top priority to the eradication of unemployment and nepotism if voted to power in Punjab. It will also take measures to separate religion from politics, which was being misused by certain political parties, particularly Akali factions. This was stated by Mr Balwant Singh Ramoowalia, Member of the Rajya Sabha and president of the party, while addressing a gathering at a party’s political conference held at Guru Ki Dhab near Jaito in the district on the occasion of Jor Mela.

Mr Ramoowalia called upon the Punjabis to oust SAD from the state and added that the other Akali factions would also face the same fate. He also criticised the Congress government for its failure to sort out the problems of the people despite promises made during the last Assembly elections.
