Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have been reported at most places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, Weather was mainly dry in Uttaranchal. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms. are — Haryana: Rewari 2; Himachal Pradesh: Una 5 and Sujanpur Tira 4; Punjab: Nangal 4.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 11: Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.
