Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in east Rajasthan. Weather was dry in west Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainflal in cm are: Haryana — Chirag Delhi and Delhi Ridge 1 each; Himachal Pradesh: Kangra 5, Sundernagar 2 and Kahu 1; Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 3 and Banihal and Srinagar 1 each; Rajasthan: Mahuwa and Tijara 1 each; Uttar Pradesh: Kakrahi and Regoli 8 each; Khadda and Palliakalan 4 each, Allahabad and Bansi 3 each, Bhinga, Chandradeepghat, Dabri and Ghazipur 2 each and Agra, Ankinghat, Basti, Birdghat, Bhatpurwaghat, Gorakhpur and Mohana 1 each; and Uttaranchal: Pantnagar 6, Banbasa 5 and Joshimath, Marora and Uttarkashi 1 each.
