Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Paonta 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Batote 1 and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi and Rudraprayag 2 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 16: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh. Duststorms or thunderstorms are likely at isolated places in west Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 16: Mainly clear sky possibislity of thundery development in some areas.
