Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Chandigarh 1, Haryana: Jind 3, Sirsa AP 2 and Rania 1, each, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 4, Punjab: Ludhiana, Nawanshahr and Raya 1 each, Uttar Pradesh: Bansi and Balrampur 5 each, Kakrahi 4, Birdghat and Lucknow AP 3 each, Chandradeepghat 2 and Ballia, Gorakhpur and Sarsawa 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 8: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
