19 Indian sailors rescued
Dubai, June 18
Nineteen Indian sailors on board a cargo ship have been rescued from the high seas off Mogadishu after the engine of their cargo vessel broke down recently. The 20-member crew of the ship Al-Bella, whose engines failed on May 29, battled for their lives on the Indian Ocean for nearly a fortnight before being rescued by a British vessel. PTI

Amarnath yatra
New Delhi, June 18
The annual Amarnath Yatra to the holy cave shrine of Amarnath in Pahalgam hills of south Kashmir will begin on July 19 with the departure of the first convoy of pilgrims from Jammu, an official of the Jammu and Kashmir Government said today. The official said the “darshan” at the holy cave could be had from July 22 to August 22. UNI
