Kahsmir, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, above normal in Haryana and east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 45.1°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan). Forecast valid until the morning of June 11: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh.
