Akash test-fired successfully
Balasore, March 5
India’s most sophisticated surface-to-air missile Akash with a range of 25 km was successfully test-fired from the Interim Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur, about 15 km from here, today. ITR sources said. It is an indigenously built multi-target missile. Akash is one of the five missiles under various stages of development by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
