Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Snowfall Report (cms): Himachal Pradesh: Dhundhi 64, Bhang 56, Solangnala 50 and Patisio 21.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Haryana and Punjab, fell in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

The lowest temperature in the plains was — 0.4°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 11, 2002: Rain or snow will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
